“We have had a great experience working with Lance and the team from Smith & Sons Pukekohe.

Our problem was updating a shower in the partially refurbished bathroom of an 80 year-old house and matching existing finished. 

Working with Lance and the team was far easier than we had thought it would be.  Lance was on site regularly, and always when he said he would be.  Communication was really clear and we had confidence in talking through issues, coming to a good decision and then seeing things properly followed up.

We started with a scare where we thought we might have asbestos, but Lance arranged testing very quickly and the crisis was averted. The building team were great. They were friendly, efficient and very tidy. They may not have enjoyed having to rip out hundreds of kilos of concrete tiles and timber, but it was done well. They even rescued an old copper hot water cylinder from the ceiling that now resides in the garden.

Lance co-ordinated the electrician, plumber, tiler and painters extremely well, so the process was as smooth for us as it could have been. In the end we are very happy have an updated bathroom that looks great and works really well.”
