150sqm Extension & Full Renovation

This project involved a full home renovation and extension to a tired bungalow in the Mangatawhiri countryside. The team at Smith & Sons Franklin extended the existing property by 150sqm. This added a new internal garage, a new master bedroom and ensuite, plus a new open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area. The property was also fully re-clad using linea weatherboard and stria board to create a feature of the chimney structure. New windows and doors were installed using aluminium joinery which is lower maintenance. The whole house was also re-roofed with a coloursteel roof. Finally a new deck was built using pine grip tread decking to surround the new open plan living areas and create indoor-outdoor flow. The whole home is now fully renovated and modernised, much to the owners delight
