Natural Elegance: Monochromatic Bathroom Makeover
Here are some before-and-after photos of a primary bathroom that underwent renovations for a family, considering the usage by the children. The red has been eliminated! Initially, the bathroom was dominated by red elements, including a feature wall of tiles and storage towers on either side of the vanity in a vibrant red colour. The homeowner desired a cohesive style with the rest of the home, characterized by natural and moody tones. Additionally, there was a desire to infuse brightness into this space, creating an enjoyable environment specifically tailored for the kids' use.
The recently renovated bathroom now showcases a uniform tile scheme, spanning from the floor to the ceiling. The owner opted for a combination of three distinct tiles, with darker tiles complemented by white ones adorning two of the walls. Additionally, a timber-look tile graces the floor, seamlessly flowing onto the shower wall as a distinctive feature.
A modern framed glass shower with sleek blacktapware from Mico, is now a prominent feature in the space. The use of black plumbing fittings extends throughout the entire bathroom. A spacious double vanity, crafted in black and timber to harmonize with the room's overall aesthetic, has been installed, complete with vessel basins. To enhance storage capacity, two matching storage cabinets have been installed either side of the vanity, addressing the essential need for ample storage in a primary bathroom.
The removal of the red elementshas transformed the bathroom into a tranquil and relaxing space, creating an inviting atmosphere to spend quality time in.
