Reclad and Internal Renovations – Port Hills

The property is in New Brighton, Christchurch. The project involved a full re-clad of the exterior, re-roof and repair to the building framing. Alongside the exterior work, the owners opted to makeover the kitchens and bathrooms in the house. The team at Christchurch Port Hills worked with designer Toni Thomas to design and plan the renovations, then started the project once consent was granted. A month into the renovations and Covid-19 hit the country, forcing the team offsite for lockdown. The team worked quickly to ensure the house was functional during this time so that the owners could stay in their home for the duration of lockdown. Now completed, the exterior work ensures the future integrity of the building whilst being easy to maintain.
